Pantelis Antoniou

Sport scientist

Pantelis Antoniou is a physical education teacher and sport scientist graduating from the School of Physical Education and Sport Science of the University of Athens in 1998. He also studied dietetics at TEE Augerinopoulou (1995-1997).

Pantelis is one of the co-founders of nutrimed and, after holding different roles within the company, he is currently the legal representative and administrative director of nutrimed. For 20 years, from 2000 until 2020, he was a co-owner and had been collaborating with Dr Anastasios Papalazarou at nutrimed dietary practice office in Kolonaki.

As a water polo athlete, Pantelis won the Greek championship in 1998 and several other medals in his career. Since 1992, he is a well recognised swimming and water polo coach with many awards in his record. Since 2015, he is also the scientific lead of the programme “Sports Academies” by OPAP, which includes a series of educational events on nutrition, psychology and physical activity for children in 120 football and 50 basketball academies across Greece.
